I am an adult adoptee who knows who my birth mother is. I was born in Portland, Multnomah, OR @ the Salvation Army White Shield Home, 2641 NW Mayfair Ave. to Ethelyn Marlene Thomas. My Birth name is Diana Lee Thomas. I am searching for my birth family and any other family members who have a connection to these families. I believe my birth father's name is Earl Alexander Regan Davey. Earl was born in Alaska in May 1933 & passed away in Oct. 1994. He was the natural son of William Bernard & Dolly Regan, and adopted by Albert R. & Freida A. (Hiatt) Davey in Alaska & raised in Columbia County, OR. He & (Ethelyn) Marlene were students @ St. Helens High. Marlene married Douglas Rhine in April 1953 and divorced him in the late 1970's. She now resides in Acworth, Georgia. I believe she & Douglas had six children - one daughter, and five sons. I was placed at Albertina Kerr, and the non-identifying info stated he was a pre-dental student. I was adopted in February 1952 by Theodore H. & Robelle M. (Oderkirk) Bergmann, and my adopted name is Barbara Louise Bergmann. I'm married to Walter L. Westgarth and we have one daughter, Melissa, who is 33. She is married to Ryan Thomas Epping, and they have two sons, Brandon Thomas, who is 10; and Jameson Charles who is 2. My Mother, Robelle, is 94, and she, our kids, and my husband & I all live in East Clark County, Washington. I hope that someone is searching for me, as I would like to locate some of my birth family. I know that my birth mother, Marlene, has a sister, Mildred Thomas Wilson Williams, who was living in either St. Helens or Scappoose, Oregon but now is in Prineville, OR; a sister, Betty DeBray who was in Washington; and she has a brother, Robert Thomas, who resides in St. Helens, Oregon.
