Searching for any information on the family of William Ringland Shimmon. According to his WWII registration card, he was born February 12, 1884 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. I know he came to the US in 1886 with his parents, James Shimmon (born appx June 1859) and Martha (Ringland) Shimmon (born appx April 10, 1864). I have most information regarding his family after their arrival in US. They moved to Pittsfield, MA area after living briefly in NY. Am looking to find out further info regarding his parents, family etc. and where they were born/lived in Ireland...if in Belfast or elsewhere.
