I'm searching for my Mom's Birth Parents and Family. She was born (I believe,) in Suffolk, Mass. November 2, 1939 and was given up for adoption at birth. She was in an Orphenage in Portland, Oregon (Multnomah County) Her adopted name...Sharon Kay McCormack. She had pictures of herself with other Adoptees and was old enough to remember being Adopted. Her Adopted Parents names were Fred and Rachel McCormack. She tragically died in 1972. With her youngest daughter Donna Marie Patterson-Wells (08-28-1968)in the car..(Donna survived). In a death search, the word Suffolk popped up. (Because they don't withhold death information.) She had two other daughters, Tamera Inez Norman-Martinez (12-10-1957) and myself (Dana Raye Norman-Kendall)(06-23-1960.)I would like to find out any information on this birth and subsequent Adoption. On her Adoption/Birth Registration Card -from the Oregon State Board of Health...Vital Statistics in Portland Oregon...She has a State File No. 2513..(Record Filed in 11-1939) in Portland , Multnomah County, Oregon..White and Female. The birth record is filed with Oregon State ,issued under Authority Ors 432.125. Date issed was 10-07-1959. Harold M. Erickson, MD was State health Officer at that time.
