My great-grandfather, William Pritchard ran way to Canada when he was 16-17 after he found out that he was adopted. This happened in the late 1890s - early 1900s as his son Edward had to have been born between 1910 - 1915 ( my grandfather). His adoptive father was Captain Samuel Pritchard - originally from Ireland - not sure of date of death or where he lived. Born, approx 1860s? Maybe? Unsure of his adoptive mother's name. Only that the boy "william" was born in Malta. Any information on Samuel Pritchard would be appreciated.
