I am not related by blood to anyone in the Bowden family but my(half)brothers are. Their father's mother was Rita Bowden before she married. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of information about her side of the family, but I know she married a man with the last name of Boat. They had a child (my brother's dad)on July 3, 1954 and later divorced. His name was Richard(Rick)Lawrence Boat(later Park after he was adopted by her second husband, a very nice man by the name of Howard Park). After Rita married Howard Park they had two children of their own, William(Billy)and Peggy. I believe Peggy's first name was something else but she was was known as Peggy. I am unsure of their birthdates. I don't have much information on Rita's family, but I do know her parents were the late William Bowden and Elizabeth(Betty)?? I can't recall her maiden name. They were both born in the late 1800s I believe and last resided in Sweet Home, Oregon. I am writing this because I care for my brothers and I know they didn't know much about their father's side of the family. It's very personal but there were issues involving their father which caused the family to split and therefore contact with his side had been ceased. My brothers would like to know they have an aunt and uncle out there as well as additional family members. They have always been curious for obvious reasons!! I apologize for not having enough information to go on, but maybe there is someone out there who recognizes the names I have given and could help me out somehow.
