Looking for Birth Grandparents. My mother was born 17 Feb 1945. Have been told she was adopted at 3 months old (approx May 1945). Believe she have been born in North Queensland possibly Townsville, Cairns, Babinda, Gordonvale etc. Have also been told that the father was a US Serviceman. Adoption certificate has the names Francis and Nora Headford (not sure if they were foster parents etc). My mother was adopted by Percy and Mary Clarke of Brisbane. This family had four boys who ranged from mid teens to mid twenties when my mother was adopted. Other names possibly related to my mother are Geary and Stout. My mother has blue eyes, fair complexion and is about 163 cm tall. I would really like to discover my birth family before it is too late and all the 'living memory' is gone. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
