Looking for the family of Jasper Newton Parsons who was born in 1851 in Kokomo, Indiana, I have no idea who his parents were other than they were both born in PA. He is my great grandfather. He married a Nona Dale Anderson who was born in 1885 in Indian Territory Oklahoma. They lived in Guthrie, Logan Co. Oklahoma for some time until she left him for a younger man. Then he moved with is children of three to Oklahoma City in 1920's and then to Tulsa, Oklahoma in the 1930's. His inlaws live with him or near him according to cenus. I have his birth year on a birth document for my grandfather but, I have found census stating he was born abt. 1867. His grave has 1851 and he died in 1937 in Tulsa. I am trying to break through a big brick wall with him. I cannot find him on census prior to to him showing up in Guthrie. I have a possible census record of a Newton Parsons in 1860 in Decatur Indiana. But I am not sure it is him as I have no idea who his family was. The 1860 census states that Newton Parsons was 9 at the time. If it is him then the birth document for my grandfather is correct with his birth year but if census records are correct then, this is not him. Any help would be appreciated.
