I am searching for my biological son. He was given up for adoption by me, his biological mother before he was born in 1972. I did this not for selfish reasons but because I did not want him to endure growing up without a father, as I did. My father died 3 days after my 12th birthday. It was not easy but my mom who is now in her 80's did the best she could. I love her. I wish to re-establish a link with my biological son. I started a search for him in 1995 and we met for the first and last time in May of 1999. The mediation process took a long time. We really hit it off but he seems reluctant to continue a relationship..there are reasons and one of them is his allegiance to his adopted parents which is natural. I need to know him because I love him. He will greatlyu benefit by knowing that his maternal family tree stems back to the 18th century. He has a half blood brother and sister, my grown children whom he has never met and also he is an uncle..my daughter's children. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
