I am looking for information on my great grandfather, James Franklin Lawson. Last found on 1900 Census living in Detroit, occupation butcher. Later might have been a policeman. He was born in Scotland abt. 1844. Have a copy of a cemetery pass for him into Elmwood Cemetery, Lot number is not readable. Card states (a lot owner) and Family into the Cemetery). I would like to know his date and place of death, cause of death and any available family information. His first wife was Rebecca Jane Vaughn, second wife might have been a Margarth (sp).
