Hello there! I am researching my O’Reilly family tree and am having difficulty finding the beginnings of Michael O’Reilly & Mary Lane in Ireland. Without any proof I’ve been told that they once lived in Carrigtwohill, Co Cork, Ireland before immigrating to Canada and settling in Montreal. According to my information Michael O’Reilly & Mary Lane along with their 2 oldest children (John & Suzanna) were born in Ireland – Jane was born on the ship coming across.
