I am a descendant of Karl Schreiber, b. 1680 who was a fur trader and lived in Durlach, Baden. He emigrated to England in 1720 and married Mary Morent in 1721, and was later naturalized by an Act of Parliament. His parents were John Samuel and Anna Schreiber who lived in Frankfort.
