Query Text: |
Samuel B. Pilkington of IRE, WI, IL & MO & sister Maria Pilkington Green - Samuel B. Pilkington traveled as a young man with his cousin John Tabor Kingston, exploring the Wisconsin wilderness, first when they were both age 18 years - in December 1837 - searching for timber stands. Looking for the family of Samuel B. Pilkington, whom is believed to be the brother of Maria Pilkington. They were both probably born in Bantry, of County Cork of Ireland, as was their uncle Paul Kingston. Maria (and undoubtedly Samuel B.) came to the US with her family in 1817 and they stayed for a while with the Paul Kingston family, Mrs. Pilkington being Paul's sister. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
