Looking for my birth mother and father. I was a boy born just past midnight on the 7th March 1978 in Hobart. Mother was 16 I believe and in High School at the time, brunette with nice features who enjoyed sports and cooking. Her name was Sandy/Sandra Benjamin. Father was 19, and an apprentice mechanic. He has red hair, and that's all I know about him. I received details of my birth mother and general adoption details from the Department of Health & Human services upon application once I turned 18 (good advice for others searching in Tas. too, go see the Dept.). I since located a woman who may be my birth mother but she has declined to reply to any of my correspondence. I've never found my father. I was adopted to a loving couple who lived in Burnie at the time. They adopted me in Hobart, and I lived in Burnie until I was 13, then moved with them to Hobart where I reside today. I may be moving o/s shortly, and wish to contact you and get to know you, or at least some of your physical history for my benefit and that of my own children when I have them one day. I'm excited to meet either or both of you, and I harbour no bad feelings or motives. It's a special part of my life and identity I need to find, and am also curious as to whether I have any half or full siblings. You can email me wmbrazel@gmail.com anytime you like.
