His parents were William Martin Kay 14 Oct 1850 Carroll County, Missouri and Sarah Isabell SHUEY 4 Oct 1854. Delphi, Carroll, Indiana-6 Jan 1939, Bixby, Tulsa Oklahoma. He was married 1 Sep 1913 to: Cordelia MITCHELL 1893, Flippin, Marion, Arkansas and died 9 Nov 1935 Shawnee, Pottawatomi, Oklahoma. Her parents were Thomas Benton Mitchell 23 Apr 1851 TN-1920 Maude, Oklahoma, and Nancy Florence Byrd 17 Sep 1854 GA-May 1912, Flippin, Marion, Arkansas.
