Has anyone information for Thomas Gilbert born 1807 in England and died Sugarloaf Creek Victoria 1857. He was married to Susan nee Gill in Ireland in 1836. He had seven children, five boys two girls. He was my father's great grandfather but there was not very much contact with any members of the family down through the years as my father's mother died when he was born and his father Thomas Uriah Gilbert born 1886 left him to be raised by his mother's family in Western Australia. The family appears to have been in the Seymour area. If I could just find out some details of where he came from and when it would be appreciated. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
