Can anyone provide any information on the family name SHILLAW? Have found two families on a transcript of the 1851 census for Peel Twp, Wellington, Ontario. DANIEL SHILLAW aged 66 (An Innkeeper)with his wife MARY aged 64 both born in Ireland with a son DANIEL aged 25, born York State and two daughters MARY aged 18 and JULIA aged 16 born Canada. The second family is MAURICE SHILLAW aged 50 a Widower born Ireland with son TIMOTHY aged 19 born Ireland, CATHERINE aged 16 born Ireland and MARY aged 11 born York State. My connection with the Shillaw name is my grandmother was HANNAH SHILLAW who married my grandfather CHARLES EDWARD HAYNES at Silksworth Parish Church, Co. Durham, England on the 3rd December 1921.
