Male child born in Detroit, Michigan in early September 1960-1961. He was born at Grace Hospital and I was staying at the Salvation Army Home for unwed mothers. I named the baby, Kevin. He was adopted immediately, I never was allowed to see him. I lived in Rochester, MI.at the time. The adoption was finalized at the courthouse in Pontiac, Mi. I gave birth again in April-May 1964 to a daughter. I was again staying at the Salvation Army Home for Unwed Mothers and the birth took place at that facility. This time I was allowed to briefly hold my daughter and I watched from the window when the adoption agency came to take her to her adoptive parents. My address and place of adoption were the same as above. I was not given any choice in the matter of adoption at that time, but I now know that I did the right thing for these children and would love to find them, if they would feel the same. | |||||||||||||||||||||
