I am looking for info on John Joseph Conroy! Any info! don't know much, but here is what I know from my Mom. There was a family story about an uncle who was a tugboat captian, there was an accident in NY harbour and he and another Conroy died. He might have been born in NYC or Ireland His Mother was alive when he married Jennie, she insisted that the first child be raised Catholic, (MOM) he might be the oldest in the family I think he had several siblings, one called Nora and maybe a Helen, one called 'Dutch' could be brother or uncle. He married Jennie(Jeanne)Estella Pulver, but she was married briefly before, don't know who. they had 3 kids, Jeanne Marie '32, John Thomas '33, James Jeremiah '39. He was an usher at Madisen Square Garden and Yankee Stadium. He was an air raid warden during WWII I think he was in the Navy before '32 He developed kidney cancer and died in '44 or '45 and I think it was July ( I remember Mom 7 in the family died that month. He was buried in Union Cemetery Fort Edward, NY. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
