My great grandmother's name was Harriet Blount Rutley. She was born about October 1847 in either Canada or New York, (specifically St. Lawrence County). I don't know her mother's maiden name but Blount appears to me to be a family name. There were several Blounts in St. Lawrence County at that time and I'm wondering whether she might have been connected to them and how. Maybe this way I could discover her mother's maiden name. Her mother's first name was Mary Ann. She was married to Josiah Rutley and died between 1850 and 1860. He remarried shortly after that. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
