My birth name was Eun Sil Kang. I was born on October 4, 1984 in Kyonggi-do (providence). My birth mother's name was Jeong Pil Ham and resided in Taegu-City. She was 21 when I was born. My birth father's name was Joon Ho Kang and resided in Kyongsangbuk-do (providence). He was 26 when I was born. I was put up for adoption on April 1, 1985 and was brought to the Eastern Child Welfare Society in Taegu-City through Dae Sung Won (Babies' Home). My case number was 85C-1003 and my foster mother's name was Soon Hee Song in Soeul. I was placed with her on APril 3, 1985. My social worker was Chung Keum Hong and the translator for my adoption paperwork was J.R. Park. I was adopted and arrived in the United States on July 18, 1985.
