Query Text:

I am searching for my birth father. I was conceived in the Lubbock, Texas, area in approximately May of 1968. My birthmother was from Dallas, Texas, and was a Freshman at Texas Tech University and 19 years old. Her name was Karen Bradley. I know where she is and have attempted to make contact with her, but she has only answered a few questions through a third party. She did not put my birth father’s name on any of the birth, adoption or hospital records. I think she may be the only living person that knows his name. According to her, my birthfather might know that she was carrying his baby, because she said, “Both of us decided we were not in love enough to get married. It was just one of those times when we got carried away.” The description I have of him that my birth mother gave at the time of my birth, February 15, 1969 is as follows: Personal Appearance: Height – 6’ to 6' 2" Weight – 180 lbs to 185 lbs Hair - Brown Eyes - Blue Age – 21 to 27 (a couple of years older than Karen would have been approx. 21 to 22 years old) Health - Good, No physical impairments Church Affiliation - Methodist and Presbyterian Education - Junior in College (One of my theories: possibly studying Accounting at Texas Tech?) Health of his parents: Father: Good, Mother: Good He played high school football, swimming and tennis. In 1988, she gave the following information when describing my birth father: "Just a tall, big bone, nice looking young man - studying accounting at the time. He was about 6' tall - weighed about 180 lbs, kind of a cowboy. Came from a good family (just kind of country folks - more rural community, I was city). He was a good person - he was about 2 years older than I. No unusual medical history.” I have a wonderful adopted family, but I would like to know about this part of me. Please, let me know if this description matches anyone you know.
