Brief background: Grandmother:Gertrude (aka: Trudee)Hart-Bryant-Price born in Georgia about 1890. 1st husband: Millard Bryant born in Georgia about 1880 died of flu epidemic in 1900's. 2nd husband: Lee Price laborer born about 1888 in Georgia. Seven children in all-6 by first marriage and 1 by second marriage. Dorothy Evelyn Price last child born March 1927 in Brunswick, Georgia-Glynn County. Maybe Lee and Gertrude divorced or he died in 1928 or 1929 as the family moved to Jacksonville, Florida not long after. Gertrude and two children (Nora, age 15 and Dorothy, age 3 are listed in the 1930 Federal Census as owning and living in a boarding house in Brunswick, Georgia. Lee is not mentioned nor her other children. If anyone has any information concerning my family I would love to hear from you. I never knew my grandfather Lee Price. I hardly knew my mother Dorothy Evelyn Price-Adamski as she was sick with Diabetes and died at age 29. My dad remarried and moved us away and I lost contact with the maternal side of my family.
