I am looking for information on John W. Smith born in Versailles, Woodford County, Kentucky but I do not know the date. He married Ellen Topass who was born about 1814 (from 1860 Anderson County, Kentucky Census) Do not know where she was born. The children of Ellen and and John W. Smith are: Nannie Smith b. November 10, 1839 m. Silas Cheek. b. November 22, 1944 John W. b. 1842 George b. Unknown Edwin T. b. 1847 Mary b. 1849 married Abner Vawter Benjamin Stephen Smith b. May 5, 1852 married Sarah Elizabeth Skelton on May 14, 1879. She was born October 21, 1856 in Shelby County. Logan RAiley b. March 18, 1854 in Woodford County, Kentucky married Jane Tinchener (spelling Not sure of) Newton P. b. September 7, 1856 Woodford County, Kentucky. I am interested in any information on this family. Will gladly exchange what little information I have.
