Hello, I am trying to find out any information on my great, great, great grandfather (Gorman) and his wife (Anna Kelly). Their son, James Gorman (O'Gorman) left Ibrickan, Clare, Ireland, to come to the US during the potato famine around 1859. He shows an account he opened in 1860 at the New York Emigrant Savings Bank. He was also single when he came to America and married a lady from Virginia, named Sarah Taylor. He died in Tennessee. His son became a great "printer's devil" in East Tennessee. Any help you could share with me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Larry Dean Murphy | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
