Looking for parents of Joseph C. Hamel b.1857 Riviere Bleu, Quebec. He m. bef. 1887 to Tallie Merchie or Muchie. He relocated to Maine before the 1880 census because he is listed there, single in Penobscot Co. He is listed with his family in Penobscot Co. in 1900, 1910 and 1920 census.
