Husband's real name was Varadi. His father was John Varadi but was adopted in 1917 by the Antal's/Antol's of San Pedro, CA. Adoption papers show John Varadi's real father name was Ferenc Varadi/Frank Varadi orginally from Szabolzs County Hungary. It also shows that his mother was Maria Tirian of Hungary. John Varadi (Antol)birth certificate shows his mother had two other children. She died when John was two yrs. old. His Father Frank let the Antol's - George and Ann Antal/Antol adopt his son John Varadi and became John Antol. John Antol served in WWII In South Pacific. Appreciate any information about Frank Varadi or his two other children. My husband is John Antol named after his father's adopted name. We went to Kantorjanosi, Hungary in 1991 and saw many Varadi's and Antal gravesites. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
