Thanks to the lovely people on this website, they helped me find my natural father. He died in the year 2000 at the age of 57 in his home. Since I have no information on his health issues, and now having auto immune, (genetic), I am afraid and would like to find his widow. I have joined some of the search websites and can't find her anywhere. I am not sure if she remarried because I can't find a mention of her death anywhere. Not sure what to do. I have written to the last address on his drivers license at time of death, but it was returned NSN. Here is the information on my father.. James Donald Cantwell SS#557-52-0519 born 5/18/1943 in Tulare, CA mother's maiden-gilbert Died: June 12, 2000 in Buffalo city/Dallas country/Missouri I got the obit from obitsarchive.com and there is no mention to cause of death, only that he died at 2:40 in his home at the age of 57. The information that I was sent via email from lovely people mentioned a Joann Cantwell who lives in the area that James' drivers licensed mentioned. RR 2 Box 695 Buffalo, MO 65622 I would like to obtain a death certificate from Missouri but they are a private state and require that family members apply. The form requires a father's name and a mother's maiden name. I have the mother's maiden but not any of the father's information. I don't wish to hound her, I really would like to find out how he passed and his health issues since I seem to have genetic auto immune issues that can't be explained on my natural mother's side.
