I am searching for the family of Mary Jane Bearden, believed to be born in SC or GA c1829. She was married to Perry W Fuller b1825 and lived in Columbia SC until her death on Jun 14 1873. I need to find her parents and siblings. There is no known marked grave for her that I can find in any of the extensive cemetery surveys for the area. There are two cemeteries that have been developed over that are possibilities but there are no records of burials that I can find. Part of me thinks she is from the upstate of SC since that name is prominent in the Greenville Spartanburg area, and Perry's father was from Laurens...yet,...another part of me thinks she may have been from Georgia, since Perry was born in Meriwether County GA. I am about at my wit's end trying to find ANYTHING on her other than what I already know...basically that she was married to Perry, had children by him, and then died in 1873 in Columbia...I have her obit...it is one line. 'Mrs PW Fuller died Jun 14 1873,the writer knew her not'. Some obit huh. LOL | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
