My name is Angelique Shepherd. I am trying to do a family tree for the family. My grandmother was born in Gilliam, LA. Her father's name was Huey McCoy. My grandmother was African American but told us her father was white. So we are just trying to verify that. Huey McCoy would have been born sometime between late 1890's to 1910. Probably 1900-1906.
