Looking for information on Joseph Donnelly, born 6 January 1896 in Ahoghill, Ballymena, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland. He was born to Jane Donnelly and unknown father. The birth was illegitimate, and Joseph was reared by his grandparents Archie and Mary (Kerr) Donnelly, while Jane went to Broxburn, West Lothia, Scotland and married my great-grandfather James Boyle. Around 1923 Joseph left Ballymena for Sydney, where he is reported to have become a wealthy man. I am interested in finding out whether Joseph married, had a family, how he made his fortune, and when he died.
