Dion Edward Pearce: My paternal grandfather about whom virtually nothing is known beyond his name, my father's name (Romney Lyle Pearce, born 6/2/1904 in Washington State) and the name of my dad's mother Jennie Bell Thompson). While we have been able to trace Jennie Bell Thompson back several generations, we have virtually no information about Dion Edward Pearce's side of the family. Lived in southern Washington and perhaps northern Oregon. Possibly divorced from Jennie; no mention of him in Romney's history after about 1910; perhaps just a permanent separation.
