Seeking information on James Ballard born Indiana 1848, son of George Ballard and Sarah (Sally) Redmon Ballard. James disappears after the 1860 census, at which point the famly was living in Tipton Co IN. George Ballard was the son of William Ballard (William, William, Byrum, William, William, Thomas, Thomas) and Louisa Hill of Grayson Co VA. Family migrated to OH, Hamilton Co IN, then Marion Co IA, where George and his wife are found in 1850, but George and wife moved back to Indiana along with James and daughter Elizabeth (married William Weldon). Perhaps Weldon descendants know what happened to James? Thanks for any help. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
