Seeking obit, death place, fam info, burial site of Josiah Garner JONES, CSA vet,(b 1824 Bulloch Co GA, son of John Thomas Briant JONES & Sena WILLIAMS) died "somewhere" in TEXAS on 12 Aug 1885. Survived by wife Mrs Emily Rice BLOCKER JONES(marr 1846 Calhoun Co GA). Known JONES Ch: Stephen B.; Bazil(Basil)W.; Sena R. Harriette nee JONES ALDAY; Susan Alice nee JONES BROWN of Alab; Theodosia JONES. Josiah Garner JONES was a Confederate Army veteran, enlisted from either Calhoun Co(in the 1850 & 1860 census), or from Decatur Co(in 1870 census) GEORGIA. Was he in TX for 1880 census? County? Desperately need grave site, so we can honor him & all CSA veterans. My mother is 93 yrs old & wants to see her G-grFather's grave before she passes. Any help, clues, suggestions greatly appreciated.
