Can anyone tell me anything about the following Venetia Lafoon (also written Venetia Laffoon) of St. Vincent Island? She was deceased by 1817 according to a slave return (list) for that year. In 1817 on St. Vincent Island, Venetia Laffoon is deceased and her estate which includes one slave is in the possession of Francis William Ward. In 1821 on St. Vincent Island, the estate of Venetia Laffoon is possessed by N. B. Cropper and owns 2 female slaves. In 1825 on St. Vincent Island, the estate of Venetia Laffoon is owned by N. Bassinett Cropper and owns 2 slaves.
