Looking for the parents of John Ridge born in NC - Nov. 20, 1829 died Oct. 2, 1907. Lived in Blount, Sevier Co.,TN. Buried in Knox. Co.,TN. John Ridge married Cathern Borden (1838-1920) Known son: Samuel M. Ridge born : May 15, 1869, who married Laura Adaline Viles. Samuel's son was Burdette Ridge who married Mamie Nell Cox. Would appreciate any information on this Ridge family. Some researchers believe that Abraham Ridge may be John's father.
