The doctor that delivered her was Harlan P. McNutt. She said that she thought she had seen papers stating that she was named windie before the adoption. She was named Erlys Margaret Brooks. She was adopted through Children's Home Society on Market Street in Chehalis, Washington to Albert and Martha Brooks of Mossyrock, Washington.
