Hello I am trying to locate a family member / records that departed Enniscorthy around 1818. Arrived in New York, April 1819 aborad the brigate, The Wilson. I have done some research on these ancestors but have come to a halt since I do not know where to look or who can assist me in Ireland to extend my search.. Can you provide web links OR address Or telephone numbers OR a name(s) OR an association/ club that may be able to point me in the right direction so that I can continue my research into my famly heritage in or around Enniscorthy Ireland. Family link / name........ Edward Oneil (birth, about 1872, location unknown) married Mary Dulin (born 1875 in Enniscorthy, Ireland). Possible alternative spellings of her last name Dolan, Doolan, or Dulon (??). Mary, married Edward Oneil in Enniscorthy around 1798 or 1799. The couple had 6 children prior to departing to the USA. (Names can be provided) The family was rather wealthy, based on the amount of land Edward purchased immediately upon arrival in the USA and the large stone mansion that he buillt shorthly after that. And they were educated since letters have been found from the children to friends in Ireland. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Kent Kretzler Florida, USA | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
