Query Text: |
Anyone who may know of a woman who was 22 in 1969-70. She was an Irish-catholic from New York (I think). Her father worked in a brewery, and she had several siblings. I also know she spent time in a convent and after a year and a half, decided a job at a bank and going to college was more up her alley. She met a man who owned a pub (previously owned by his father- again New York is all I know). He was married with two children. I happened (to the shame of her family it seems). He was "supportive" of her decision. She came to California to put a baby girl up for adoption on March 26, 1970. Apparently for $1300 through Omnitrace anyone can get a birth name. Mine was Josey McCarthy. That's all I have. I just want to know the rest of the story and share mine with anyone who may want to hear it. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
