In search of birth parents or siblings. Boy, born September 16, 1967 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette (Tippecanoe County) Indiana. Adopted by couple from Carroll County and have been told that I was picked up when 5 days old. Adoptive parents had 3 older girls. I now have 3 young children and would at least like to have medical background information, but if all parties are willing, would love to meet them too. My adoptive parents are both deceased. Adoption was handled by the Law Office of Bishop & Bishop in Flora (Carroll County) Indiana. My adoptive parents last name is Popejoy. UPDATE: I did receive the non-identifying info from the Indiana Dept of Health. I was born at 8:33 am on Sept 16, 1967 - weight was 7 lb 12 oz - 19 inches long - Mothers age at time of childs birth was 19 - mothers birthplace was Missouri - mothers race is white - mothers education is not stated. I guess with being in Lafayette, she could have possibly been a student at Purdue University (just a thought). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
