Query Text:

In search of my twin sister-actual birth date April 26/27, 1954-born in Florence Vermont. However as it was a black market adoption and our birth mother was told we were stillborn, the date of birth and place of birth has been changed in the records. My twins birthdate could be listed anywhere from April possibly through July as we were 4 lbs when we were born.Place of birth may be listed as Proctor or Rutland hospital. My amended birthdate is June 15,1954, and there is a possibility that my twins may be listed as May 13th. Our mothers Maiden name was Champine, listed in the non-identifying info that I received was that her name was Beverly and she had a sister named Dorothy. I have found my birth family and most of my siblings, however my twin is missing and so is another stillborn child- a boy born in Dec. 1952. A woman looking like me has been spotted many times in the Rutland VT area, as well as in Granville, NY area from 1972-present. I have exhausted all the legal venues. I have reddish blonde hair with freckly skin(now going white at the temples) and green eyes(that tend to go bluish sometimes). I am 5'6 and have never been a skinny woman. Our heritage is Norweigan and French. Our mother had brown eyes and blonde hair. Our father was from New Brunswick, was very tall, hazel eyes, dark brown hair, and was of French and Native Canadian tribal descent. He was in Vermont from 1952-1956 on a work visa logging for the Central Vermont Railroad. His last name was Peterson. We came from a family of 12 with 2 other sets of twin girls!I feel that something very serious happened to my twin the year that we turned 16 as I felt so very affected and upset for no apparent reason. And I didnt find out that I actually had a twin until I was 39 years old...when I located my birthmom. At this point even the tiniest of clues can help.
