I am searching for my husbands biological mother/father and/or siblings, etc. He was born at 6:55pm on Sunday Nov. 6, 1977 in Shreveport, LA. He weighed 6lbs 13ozs and was 19 inches long. He was told that he was born at Schumpert Hospital, but his birth certificate does not confirm that. The adoption was done through the VOA, where the birthmother stayed in a maternity home for the last 3 months of pregnancy. We know that it was a normal pregnancy with no complications. She was in labor for 3hrs. It was a closed adoption so the only information provided to him was non-identifying, so he knows that his birthmother was 5'2 1/2" tall and had blonde hair and hazel eyes. His birthfather was also 5'2" tall and he had brown hair and hazel eyes as well. He believes that his birthparents were 17 yr old high school sweethearts that had known each other for quite some time prior to the pregnancy. We believe that his father did propose to his mother when she became pregnant, however neither of them were ready for marriage or to be parents. My husband was adopted by a loving couple that gave him all the love in the world so his desire to find his biological parents is strictly out of curiousity. He wants his birth parents to know that they made the right decision, and because of that he was blessed with a loving family and a great life. He has been married for almost 10 yrs now and is a wonderful, loving father to two daughters and one son! He was raised in Shreveport,LA but now lives in SW Louisiana with his wife and children. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
