I am trying to get information on my Great-Great-Grandfather whose name was Carl Manthei. He was married to Wilhelmina (Wilke)Manthei. They were married in 1849 in Pomerania, Germany. I would like to know the name of the village or town that they came from and the names of their brothers or sisters. They came to the U.S.A. in 1875 along with their 5 children: Carl,Amelia,Augusta, Julius,& Herman(my Great-Grandfather). I plan to go to Germany in the near future and would like to get in contact with any relatives that may still be in that part of Germany.
