I am searching for birth mother, Shirley Mae Betts. I was born Oct. 30, 1948 in Pittsburgh,Pa., but was taken back to Erie. It was a private Catholic adoption, I could have been placed in St. Josephs Home for Children for a brief time. I was adopted when I was no more then 3 mos.and moved to Phila. A Fr. Downing was instrumental in the adoption. I have my adoption papers and unammended birth certificate
