Many thanks for your help , V------ Yes , I am not having any luck with finding death record indexes on the appropriate W.A. website. For example I am trying to trace the death of a George Moore. He and his wife show up on the Electoral Rolls from 1901 to 1936, their last address being 37 Blencowe Street West Leederville. His wife , Katie Moore is a widow when she writes her will dated 4th April , 1939. So George Moore must have died between 1936 and 1939... Katie Moore seemingly returned to New South Wales so I didn't expect to find her death index on the W.A. website . ( It's probably NSW Regn. No. 13140 /1945 Katherine Moore , Waverley ) In her will , Katie Moore appointed " John Ridley of corner of Arthur and Princep Streets Bunbury in the State of Western Australia Railway Officer to be the Executor and Trustee of this my will " As it turned out The Supreme Court of New South Wales handled the grant of Letters of Administration, in November 1945. Anyway , where and when (in W.A. ) did George Moore die. And where is he buried , I wonder ? I noticed the marriage of Enid Ridley to Ronald Wilfred Gledhill (1943) and that he enlisted at Point Peron WA in 1939 -showing birth details 19/12//1919 at Elsternwick Vic. nok was Enid. I cannot find record of their deaths in Perth Metropolitan Cemeteries. Also noticed Edward Thomas Ridley married Diana P Bird (1943) - he enlisted in Bunbury 1939. ...the West Aus State Library has an 'Ask a Librarian' service (on-line) - they will check electoral rolls and newspaper death notices for you.
