I am searching for my son that I placed for adoption at birth. The adoptive parents and I arranged an "open adoption" where we would exchange pics and letters through the adoption agency office. Within 1 year they had only sent one pic and then when I asked the agency to ask them for an update, they were unable to find them. They disappeared and took my son with them. Now the attorney that opporates the agency is claiming that her records were destroyed when she had her office painted some years ago and that she cant help me. I am aware that these records are suppose to be maintained and that she must think I am stupid. Her secretary did an internet search for them about 9 years ago so I know she had a computer to kepp her records in. My desire is just to renew contact info with the adoptive parents for the purposes of updates and future contact with my son. I know very little about them. Their names are Anita and Brian and my sons name is Cameron. I dont know their last names but someone does. They were lining in north Carolina at the time of the adoption and had a business called aloha pool and spas. They had 2 dogs named elvis and precilla. Brian plays guitar and Anita is from Germany. She has a heavy german accent and her family is in Germany and is very wealthy. My son Is biracial. I am caucasian and his father is african american. He was born on 11-30-98 in Austin Texas/Travis county at St. David's hospital. My name is Melissa Lea edwards and my maiden name is Vanderhoof. My last name was not changed at the time of the adoption. His father's name is John. J. EdwardsIII. My bday is 11-08-1973 and John's is 4-25-1968.
