My name is Richard Logan Charlton. I am the youngest son, 62, of William Harrison Charlton(career USAF) b. 17 Oct 1915, Belair, Ohio, d.18 Nov 1993, Bexar, Tx. His family was from the Washington,Pa /W Va/Ohio area. As a boy they lived at 362 Burton Ave, Washington,Pa. I have been trying to get in contact with any of my uncle John Logan Charlton's relatives or close family friends. My middle name came from my uncle John Logan. I am quite ill(COPD) and I have a 7 y.o. son. I'm doing OK right now. The Lord keeps me going. I've been trying for almost a year to get in contact with someone. We are in Thailand, but my son Shane is a US citizen and has his new Epassport. My hope is to find someone that would take my son and give him a good, loving home, and future. He is a gem! I try to come and check email daily. I'm hoping God will lead you to this query. There is a wonderful boy that has suffered from not having a loving Mother. I've been his mom and dad since he was off breast milk. We've had some very hard times. To maintain his English we watch many wonderful animated movies. A double sword at times. He sees how many Americans act (MUCH better than most locals here and he also sees the snow and all the fun children are having. He wants to live where there is snow). So almost daily he asks me when we R going to America. I have no family and no family home. He knows that I come to the i-net shop to try to get contact with someone in USA that would provide a home and a secure future. Because of his age and intelligence, he must think the couple are good friends so it will help build his trust in them from the beginning.I wanted him to grow up where his grandfather's family lived. 1000s of people in every city of every country are wanting a child everyday. People pay enormous sums and fly around the world to have a son/daughter. My son is not for sale. He is right here waiting. Isn't there someone out there whose life would be enriched by the addition of a smart, strong, handsome joker in their life?? He's already an American with a US passport! I was hoping for a relative or close friend of the family to reply so Shane could be told some history of his ancestors and the area. But now a good, loving couple would be great. We would love to hear from YOU. Please respond. Starting a dialogue doesn't mean a commitment. I fight everyday to maintain my strength so I can care for him. I've written this here many times and I'll never stop trying. He is my heart and soul and I'm trying to have the patience for God to guide you to send us a reply. We pray everyday.
