My son was born premature on July 7, 1990 with major health issues. My wife and I gave him up for adoption to a childless couple who could afford to provide for his special needs. We had 5 other children at the time and were extremely poor. We were promised we would be kept abreast of his development but the adopted parents disappeared with him shortly after the adoption and we never heard another word.
