I am searching for birth parents and siblings. I was born Monday May 28, 1956 at 4:45 p.m. as Baby Jones at Charlevoix, Michigan, Dr. Martin attending. My adoption by Florence and Joseph Chester of St. Clair Shores, MI was managed by Judge William C. Severance of the Antrim County Probate Court at Bellaire, Michigan on June 23, 1956, when the "rights of the parents were terminated." I was in the hands of the Chesters on June 5, 1956. My adoption was formalized by Judge Joseph F. Ford one year later on June 6, 1957. I am white, dark brown hair, British or Scandanavian features, blue eyes, 6' tall. Adoption was supposedly brokered by minister Dr. Al Northrup of the Eastport, MI Baptist Church with assistance of Robert and Arlene Smalley of Ellsworth. Was told birth mother's name is Susan Jones, that there was a father, name unknown, and that several older siblings were also adopted. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
