Searching for birth brother who was born May 17, 1950 in the Philippine Islands. He was adopted to a family (probably military and/or LDS). He would have been taken stateside, maybe shortly after the birth- or not. If he went statewide, it may have taken a couple of months to get there and get the paperwork done. He would have come over as "Baby Boy Ross" and had a new birth certificate and name issued in the States. I was born July 28, 1951 and our mother kept me. My delivery doctor was William K. Graves, and the Certificate witnesses were SSGT Charlie E, Weaver - 6200 Air Police Squadron and Jack F. Orvill - 6206th Air Police Squadron. My birth certificate is attched to the Department's copy. "Refer to report of birth on form 240 of Baby Boy Ross, executed at Clark Field, Pampanga, PI on May 17th, 1950 by William K. Graves, and completed at this office on May 24, 1950". My Grandfather, Master Sgt. Ralph M. Ross was a widower raising 5 children on his own. He was stationed at Clark Air Base as part of the 24th Motor Vehicle Squadron, from 1949 til Sept. 1951. The only names I know from there are Clarence Call, a Col.Peterson or Col. Kinney (who is rumored to have arranged the adoption). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
