My father was adopted from an orphanage in Pilot Point Texas. His birth date was 04/27/1942, his given name was David Duane Dobson. Limited information on adoption papers list mother as Lois Dobson, unmarried and somewhere around 16 years old at the time. His bio father wrote him a letter that has since been lost. I have been told that the only thing anyone remembers of the letter was that his fathers' family was of Irish descent. My father, as well as his adoptive parents have all passed.
